- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp baking soda
- ½ tbsp salt
- ½ cup softened butter
- ¾ cup white sugar
- 4-5 mashed banana
- ½ cup chopped walnuts (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C)
- In a large bowl, mash bananas until the mixture is mostly smooth, with a few small lumps. Stir in melted butter.
- Beat in the sugar, and vanilla extract until everything is combined.
- In another bowl, mix together the baking soda, salt and flour.
- Mix the dry ingredients into the banana mixture.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
- Bake in preheated oven for 40-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the loaf comes out clean.
